TKI / FNBA INVITATIONAL SHOWS
You are not obligated to purchase any knives at the show. If your badge number is drawn and choose to pass on the knife for yourself but have a friend that wants to buy it, then your friend must give you the funds for YOU to make the purchase. To be clear, the corresponding winner MUST pay for the knife.
Yes. Your bid is your commitment to pay if you are declared the highest bidder. If it is brought to our attention that this commitment is not fulfilled, then the attendee is banned from attending any future invitational shows. We take this rule very seriously, as each invited knifemaker has spent a painstakingly large amount of time building the knife, and the integrity of our auctions is a critical part of providing the maker a platform to be compensated for their hard work.

This is to the discretion of each particular maker. It is best to contact the specific makers you are interested in prior to the show to get a clear idea of what forms of payment to be prepared for.
Unless a knife is deemed a “defect” and has a critical flaw, all sales are final. This is the standard policy of the show, but any specific policy made exclusively by a maker supersedes our policy, so be sure to ask the specific makers if they have any return policy in place. R1 Promotions is not responsible for the reimbursement of any knives sold at the show.
VIP passes allow attendees to participate in the lotteries and auctions that will take place Friday evening. Spectator badges gain access to the show, but cannot participate in any of the lotteries and auctions taking place Friday evening. Both passes are qualified as VIP passes for the following show on Saturday.

Badges cannot be picked up “on behalf” of another collector; regardless of who purchased it. The only exception to this rule is for Companion passes that do not participate in lotteries and auctions.
No. Each attendee is allowed only a single collector number badge.
